You make some good, relevant and valid points. Although when you mention Parry's name in the reference to the lack of Merchandising he seems to have covered his back on this one and now [late 2007] appointed a commercial director who comes with a good background & C.V and to boot is a Liverpool Fan, Ian Ayre i think his name is.

I just thought i would mention this as it means we can't point the finger at Parry singularly anymore - unless we wish to dwell in the past [which we would be fair enough when analysing critically an executives performance]...

- so, imo hes been very clever here and either 1) realised he is crap at providing the club with revenue upto and above the competitions grade _or_ 2) has merely moved to cover his back and deflect criticism in this department away from him.....

I couldn't agree with you more over the main issue here though...

I also agree that it would be good for Stevie to show his passion a little more throughout the game - he does seem to be calm, cool and collected perhaps too much so... imo this drive and love for the club needs to be voiced further to drive and inspire the other players, so i agree with you here too...

[I also feel that we can step up a level when we need to in games, we have that spirit/drive/soul/passion -- we have something extra in the tank either, mentally or physically idk - but perhaps if we went all out 100% from the start results would be found sooner and then Rafa could rest the players after say 70mins when were 2-0 up.... ]
